Hello!
Today I am so excited to be sharing something a little different with you!
It’s another card – I know, I make cards allll the time. But i rarely branch away from my Lawn Fawn stamps and dies (I can’t help it, they’re just too cute!). This brand is new(ish) to me and I haven’t shared many ideas on how I’ve been wanting to use these stamps!
Avery Elle is a brand I have looked at in the past and thought was very cute but only made my first purchase a few months ago.
These “Peek-a-boo” sets are just gorgeous! Just looking at them gets me inspired to make and try new things. The little hands of the creatures are able to be placed wherever you like – around numbers, frames, foods etc, the possibilities with these are truly endless!
For this project I used two of the peek-a-boo sets that I own – Jungle and Pals
Last I checked, these were still available on the Avery Elle website, but being Aussie, I found it was quicker and more cost effective to buy local at Craftonline.com.au
I have recently been challenging myself to use minimal colours and copic markers (I own a total of 15!) in my projects. These images were perfect to practice my shading and colours with my copics.
This card is being sent off as some happy mail for my beautiful cousin, who I was meant to see months ago for he and his family to meet my daughter, but haven’t yet as our borders are closed here. I hope this card brings a smile to his face and reminds him that we love him and can’t wait to see him when we can!
Thank you so much for joining me here today! I hope you are well and keeping safe. If you’re feeling down, maybe send some happy mail, too! It’s lightened my mood and made me think of happier times with my family!
Bye for now!
