Hello!
Welcome to another shrink plastic shaker card post – I just can’t help myself!
This week’s card features an older Lawn Fawn stamp which I have recently acquired – so you very well may already have this one in your stash and can get started on this adorable card!
This card was super simple to make, only taking me three days because I was interrupted about nine thousand times and the weather was too gloomy for filming (still working with only natural light in my dining room).
The frame for this card was simply made with a rectangle card stock frame, some nice, thick adhesive foam double-layered on the back and a WHOLE bunch of stamped crayons glued around the edges.
I loved using these crayons for the gram as they truly hid any imperfections in my cuts and foam adhesion.
The shaker pieces were of course, so much fun to make!
Using my shrink plastic sheets and black Staz-On ink, I created a heap of crayons that would be shrunk down to make the cutest custom shaker elements!
Honestly, I am obsessed with this process, I just LOVE watching the full-sized stamped images shrink all the way down to these tiny pieces!
It’s been mentioned to me a few times that I could simply put them in the oven – I know, I know, but then I wouldn’t be able to watch them up close and share the videos of this plastic transforming!
