Today I have these adorable Thanksgiving crafts to share with you!
Thanksgiving is not celebrated here in Australia, but I wanted to ensure I included this holiday in my crafty calendar to give my US readers and YouTube subscribers some crafty inspiration for their special event!
This project was a fantastic excuse to get my hands on the lovely “Stitched Leaves” die set by Lawn Fawn. I have always loved the look of it, but never had an idea good enough to use it – I think these pieces have changed that!
These place cards were made simply using some scrap card stock and dies, so they came together very quickly!
From the moment I had this idea, I really couldn’t decide if the leaves should drop down from the top or come upon from the bottom of the place card. I’m so glad I tried out both as they do look very different, and they’re both so pretty!
Which variation do you like best?
Just as I made a little Halloween scene in one of these little cake domes, I thought it would be cute to make a Fall/Autumn themed scene to go with these place cards.
I just LOVE this excited little squirrel – he is the cutest! I couldn’t wait to use this stamp again, and he was perfect for this little dome, happily throwing leaves up in the air.
