Today I have this super simple birthday card to share with you!
If you’ve been following along on my YouTube channel, you may have seen my recent tutorial video where I used the Lawn Fawn Plaid Stencil for the first time. This card features ones of the many backgrounds I made for that video – I’m so excited to be putting them to use!
This card features many other fun Lawn Fawn products, both very new and old.
I already know that the new skinny tag is going to be one of my favourites! I use banners so frequently on my cards, so having a slightly different, more detailed piece to highlight small sentiments is wonderful!
I really felt like the use of the Sunburst Backdrop over the plaid background was going to be “too much”. Many of the lines don’t line up, so I was concerned it would create visual chaos, but looking at the completed card, I’m actually surprised at how well they seem to go together!
I really can’t wait to see what else I can do with the other plaid backgrounds!
