We’re Celebrating! I’ve joined the Hobby Hoppers Magic Makers!

Welcome to my first blog post as a Magic Maker for Hobby Hoppers!

One of my crafty dreams came true late last month when I received an email from the lovely Trish of Hobby Hoppers, asking if I’d like to be a design team member for her wonderful small Aussie business!

I of course said yes, and am thrilled to be designing creative pieces for Hobby Hoppers! I hope this card, and the projects for this creative to follow, inspire you to get creative and make beautiful things!

If you are unfamiliar with Hobby Hoppers, I highly recommend that you check out the website and all that it has to offer – especially as the latest Lawn Fawn release is upon us! Trish keeps the shop well stocked and up to date with the latest release. So you know where I’ll be shopping this week to get my hands on new stamps and dies!

At the time of this post, Hobby Hoppers offers free shipping for Aussies on orders over $50. I’ve mentioned many times in the past that I must keep to a budget when crafting, so this is something I truly appreciate (plus it means more money for stamps!).

My first project as a Magic maker is this pop-up thank you card! The cheeky, little Lawn Fawn mice are up to mischief again, but this time -it’s to celebrate!

The front of this card, like my previous Pop-Up cards, is simple. I enjoy creating them this way, as they are like a little sneak peek of what is to come once opened!

This tiny mouse in his sweet party hat is just adorable.

The inside of this card is a whole other experience! The same bright colours are continued, with lots more mice and heaps of lovely letters and envelopes scattered about as the two furry friends in the middle appear to be tossing them about with excitement!

Despite the sweet chaos, the beautiful “Thanks” die is still a major detail in this scene, emphasised by laying the Oliver’s Stitched ABC’s over the rainbow letters. I already can’t wait to use this die again, and to add more to my collection!
