Today I have another fun, shrink plastic shaker card to share with you!
If you’re familiar with my work, then you may know that a shrink plastic shaker was the first tutorial that I ever shared on YouTube. That video will be a year old next month, and it’s almost at 4,000 views!
My shrink plastic shakers seem to be my most popular creations, and I’m not surprised – who doesn’t love seeing their favourite images extra tiny? They’re just so cute!
So I’m setting to work on a few of these cards to share with you over the coming weeks.
Today’s features Let’s Go Nuts and Let’s BBQ by Lawn Fawn.
These stamps sets are a bit of an odd mix. I’m not sure that squirrels would have much of an interest in BBQing, but I thought with the colour scheme I was planning on using with this card, the BBQ stamps were much better suited than the baking sets.
I considered using the many mice themed stamp sets by Lawn Fawn (again, not sure if those little critters would be into outdoor grilling) but I have missed using these little squirrels! They are just so adorable and happy, a great addition to this card.
I was going for a slightly more masculine feel to this piece as I do have someone in particular in mind for this card. But it really could be used for anyone who enjoys a good BBQ!
I just love how these tiny shaker pieces turned out! Who would have thought a steak could be so adorable!?
