Today I have this bright, fun, interactive card to share with you today!
For this gorgeous card, I used the Tropical Toucans stamp set and Stitched Leafy Borders by Pretty Pink Posh and the super fun Swish N Pop Pull Tab by Lawn Fawn!
I’ve been having so much fun working out what I can create with the Swish N Pop die set. I don’t think out of the three times that I’ve used it so far, that I’ve actually used it “correctly”. I’ve played around with the position and the way it moves each time so far – but that’s what is making it so fun!
We don’t really stick to the rules here ?
I really wanted to find a way to use these beautiful toucan stamps. I already had the perfect leafy borders to got with them, I just had to decide on the layout.
I loved the idea of mixing these stamps with the Swish N Pop, originally thinking having a toucan appear from behind leaves would be the plan.
It was while I was deciding between making my slimline card portrait or landscape that I thought it would be a fun twist to have a complete jungle scene with a hidden sentiment, having the leaves move up and hide behind the frame to reveal the words.
I honestly think this is one of my favourite cards that I’ve made! The colour scheme is nothing like what I usually go for, it’s using. stamp brand that I’m still getting familiar with and has a challenging interactive element.
For me, this card is all of my learning, skill development and new techniques in a physical piece.
