Hello!
I’ve got a Beary Sweet card to share with you today!
If you’ve been following me on instagram, you may have seen that I recently asked if you celebrate Valentine’s Day and if so, what you do.
I shared what we do, which is really nothing ? After being with hubby for more than ten years, we just don’t really feel the need to make a big deal out of this day. I’ll make it clear that I LOVE Valentine’s Day SO MUCH. There’s just something wonderful about all of the pink and red, and with any holiday, there always seems to be a buzz of excitement whether people are celebrating or not.
I think another reason that greatly contributes to my love with this particular event is that it comes just before my own birthday. Which means all of that fancy chocolate that hits shop shelves is suddenly greatly discounted after the day – just in time for this birthday girl to treat herself to some of her favourites.
Turns out I’m not just a budget crafter, I’m also a budget chocoholic!
When I think of Valentine’s Day, I visualise hearts, chocolate boxes, roses and teddies. All the typical stuff. So that’s what has been inspiring my Valentine’s cards. The last card I made was a chocolate box, so this time I figured I would focus on the teddy!
And is there a cuter bear than this one? It’s from the Den Sweet Den stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
This happy bear just makes me smile every time I see it! He is just so cute, especially when holding this heart ♥️
I hope you like this card!
