Hello!
As promised, more Christmas crafts are happening here on my blog and YouTube channel!
I read today that there are 49 days until Christmas – how can that be? Are you ready? I…am not lol.
But let’s have a look at today’s card instead of stressing about all the presents I haven’t purchased (or even had time to think of!).
I LOVE my Mermaid For You stamp set. It’s one of the first that made it into my Lawn Fawn collection and I have used it many times for many beautiful crafts, so it was only a matter of time before I started using it for Christmas cards too!
Christmas Fishes is a much newer set in my stash, but it was a must for me when it was released as I just love ocean themed sets that Lawn Fawn creates!
As you can no doubt see, a few other, smaller sets also made their way into this design.
The design for this card has been in my head for MONTHS. Eating away at the back of my brain each time I make a card that isn’t THIS one ever since I made my cookie wreath cards a few months ago.
By the time I got around to making this card last weekend, the image was so clear in my head that the finished product truly looks identical to what has been dancing around my mind, eager to escape and be out in the world!
Each piece of this card makes me so happy! It’s bright and colourful with so many little creatures smiling and ready to celebrate! Expect for maybe the little crab, he doesn’t really look too thrilled about carrying presents (maybe he represents my husband who gets stuck with present hauling duty on Christmas Day!).
If you would like to see how I made this card, I will pop my YouTube link below. Speaking of YouTube, I hit another milestone this week – 800 subscribers! If you’re one of my subscribers, THANK YOU so much for your support, I hope I am bringing you content that you enjoy and will stick around to see where this will take me over time!
If you haven’t subscribed yet, I hope that you’ll consider joining us to see what things I come up with next – I am typically uploaded two new videos per week!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will visit again next week to see some adorable Thanksgiving crafts I will be sharing!
You are so very creative, Steph and I am thrilled for you that this card came out like you envisioned. It’s fantastic. I am really looking forward to seeing it come to life. Congratulations on your growing YouTube fanbase. That’s so exciting! Very happy for you and your success!
