Just a quick post to share with you today!
As you may have seen in my previous post, we celebrated my son’s birthday over the weekend. One of my favourite things to do for him in the week leading up to his birthday is making him a birthday card!
My skills have most definitely improved since I purchased my very first Lawn Fawn set to make decoration for his first birthday, so it’s always fun to see what I come up with and how it compares to the years before.
I really do love this year’s card. It’s super simple but looks clean and neat.
Having the four be the centre of attention and the most decorated almost feels like a peek into the night sky, while the space around it is fairly plain, with just enough texture so that it doesn’t feel empty or unfinished.
This card was completed very quick – the only step that took a bit of time was waiting for the Stickles to dry before using that piece of card as my background.
