Hello!
Today I have a super fun cardio share with you!
My adorable cousin (and biggest fan) is turning seven this week, so of course I had to go all out and make an amazing card to celebrate her birthday!
The “Mermaid for You” set by Lawn Fawn is one of my favourites and one of the first stamp sets I purchased. I try to use it as often as possible – and I just can’t resist finding a way to turn it into a shaker!
For this card, I also used some creatures. from “You Are Sublime” and I think a few from the “Fantastic Friends” set may have also snuck in along the way.
If you’ve been following along on either this blog or my YouTube channel, you may have noticed that I have been challenging myself to use as few copies as possible in my work as:
– I am on a very tight budget and can only afford a small amount (I’m up to 15 in total!)
– I am still very new to blending and am finding it fun to learn with blending small amounts of colour, it’s been good practice!
– I am trying to learn to not use every colour at my disposal and going for a “less is more” approach.
I think this card shows how my skills are developing!
I think this card is so much fun! It is VERY busy. I added so many little creatures. As it is for a little one, I wanted it to be exciting and for her find something new each time she looks at it.
I just loved adding party hats to all of these little. creatures!
