Hello!

I have something super special to share with you today!

After uploading my first how-to video on YouTube a few weeks ago, I was almost immediately contacted by one of my favourite crafters, Carrie Rhodes!

Once the shock had worn off, I was able to read her messages and was so thrilled to accept an invite to a Lawn Fawn Fans Spring Themed YouTube Hop!

With this Hop being Spring themed, I had to have a think about what I love most about Spring (a little tricky as we’re heading into Winter here in Australia) and settled on planting veggies.

While I, myself have very few skills when it comes to planting vegetables (and keeping them alive) it is something that I have always loved to do back when I worked as an Early Childhood Educator and now with my own son. There’s just something magical about seeing those little seeds successfully sprout and reach for the sun.

So it was settled – a veggie garden! But would it be a card? Gift tags? Nope! I wanted something more like the real deal and went for a 3D mini installation inside a dome/cloche.

I have had my eye on this stamp set FOREVER! “Rooting for You” has been in and out of my cart since it was first released and I just couldn’t think of a good enough reason to get it and every time an order would arrive without it, I would regret not grabbing it.

Not anymore! And what luck that it arrived not long after I had started working on the other elements of this project.

I am very pleased with how this dome turned out! So much so, I want to give it away!

If you are living in Australia, be sure to head over to my YouTube channel before Friday June 5th and comment where you are watching from.

Not an Aussie? This Hop was sponsored by ScrapbookPal.com, so if you’re American or Canadian make sure you head over too and comment to go in the draw for a spending spree! (And check out all the other stops on the hop and comment for more chances!).

There were many steps to this project, but truly, this was not very hard to make! If you’d like to see how I made it, here’s a step-by-step video!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing this project as much as I did making it. I hope to be in many more hops with other talented creatives in the future!

Thanks for stopping by!
