Hello!
It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to get some crafting done since the arrival our little girl, but now that we’ve been getting into a bit of a routine, I’ve been able to sneak in some craft time!
Today I am sharing my latest project – a thank you card using Lawn Fawn’s Flippin’ Awesome die!
With so many cute gifts given to us for our little girl, thank you cards were something that I really wanted to send out!
I have used the Flippin’ Awesome die set to make interactive cards before, and it was so much easier than I anticipated. I’ve been looking for an excuse to use it again, especially since purchasing the “You’re Just May Type” and “Love Notes” stamp sets.
This card was fun and quick to make. If you have the Flippin’ Awesome die set and want to make a card like this, my best tip would be to ensure you have some acetate.
The “thanks” on the part that slides out is covered in acetate from the pull tab all the way to under the last square so that it slides smoothly in and out without catching. I cut the little orange arrow for the pull tab out of card stock and glued it over the acetate to “hide” it as best I could. I think it made it look much more complete.
I hope you like my latest card!
Have you got the Flippin’ Awesome die set?
What have you made with it?
